The Fox F36-251A 8 1/4” slide compound saw stands truly alone when compared with the options in the market place. Its 1600W brush motor offers almost double the power of other brand leading machines, guaranteeing a cutting performance that won’t falter, fade or flag when put to the test. A compact, well thought out design coupled with an extensive use of lightweight aluminium has realized a machine that weighs just 15kg, is health and safety conscious with its fully enclosed blade guard and open fence area, and is highly portable with its integral top carry handle. The cutting head glides on a precision bar system, enabling a crosscut of up to 65mm x 205mm at 90°, as well as other highly respectable cutting capacities (see specification). The aluminium table can be quickly set to standard preset angles, or locked off at any in between positions via the front locking handle. Bevel cut adjustment of up to 45° is via a Bristol lever situated at the rear of the machine. To further enhance the F36-251D, Fox have also included a laser cutting guide to facilitate quick and precise cutting, a trenching feature, a dust collection bag, and left and right extension bars for additional material support.
