A 250 Watt smooth running induction motor with sealed bearings provides power to the lathe, offering a range of speeds from 750 to 3200 rpm, instantly variable at the turn of a dial to accommodate a whole host of turning challenges. Fox Tools have made this lathe fully compatible with industry standard fittings and accessories, eaturing a 3/4" X 16tpi main drive spindle and morse taper No.1 head and tailstock taper. The F46-252 features a 12" spindle turning capacity and an 8" swing over the bed, and comes supplied with a 3" (75mm) face plate, spur centre and revolving centre - A real attention seeker! This latest release from Fox Tools satisfies a demand for a highly compact, portable mini-lathe. With a lathe bed manufactured from grey cast iron and precision milled for smooth operation of the cast iron tool rest and tailstock, this lathe is precise and simple to operate.
