The Fox F14-655A further promotes their ‘exceptional quality, exceptional price’ policy. Loaded with features, and offering up to a 1” morticing capacity, it is the craftsman’s obvious choice for years and years of reliable service. Weighing in at 68kg, this solid bench top morticer is constructed from cast iron throughout, exuding quality from every angle. Ease of set-up and operation was clearly in the design brief, reflected in features such as the sliding table - laterally adjustable to the left and right via a conveniently placed hand wheel, with a maximum travel of 23” (580mm). The rear fence features similarly micro-adjustment to the throat. This, coupled with a combination of quick-action and screw clamps with multi-positional scope, offers the operator a unique simplicity of set-up and optimum levels of support and safety in use. The theme of safety and control is further enhanced through a substantial side handle that can be mounted either on the left or the right side of the machine, adjustable to suit the individual needs of the operator. Additionally, for repetitive production runs where consistent results are of paramount importance, the F14-655 has a fully adjustable depth stop. Powered by a substantial 1 hp induction motor, the Fl 4-655 accepts a wide range of chisel sizes from 1/4” to 1” via its patented quickfit collet system.
