Undoubtably one of the most sensational advances ever in the field of bench top morticing, the F14-651 offers an aweinspiring blend of features and quality at a highly affordable price. A rugged 3/4hp direct drive induction motor effortlessly powers the morticer, accepting a range of chisels up to 5/8” (l6mm). A timber height of B” (200mm) can be accomodated under the chisel, with a morticing throat of 200mm. The instantly appreciable stability comes from a robust cast iron construction, combined with two precision ground and hardened steel columns, on which the headstock smoothly glides. To further enhance stability and control, Fox have opted for a hydraulic gas strut, enabling smooth, judder-free morticing through a headstock travel of up to 9” (230mm). A unique 180° rotating base facilitates custom off-bench morticing projects, and an adjustable depth stop guarantees consistent results in production runs.
